In loving memory of Jimmy Roy McDaniel. Born on March 26, 1966, Jimmy Roy McDaniel left us on January 19, 2024. A dedicated father survived by daughters Crystal McDaniel Mitchell (LaTron) and Gabriel "Gabby" McDaniel Powell (Duke) along with grandchildren Ciarrah Godbolt, Isaiah Mitchell, and Levi Powell.
Born in Pineville and raised in the Natchez area, Jimmy R. McDaniel spent his entire life in the community he loved. Early in life, he accepted Jesus, and his faith remained a guiding light throughout his journey.
Jimmy devoted nearly 40 years of hard work to SWEPCO and Valley Electric. His passion for lawn care extended to a thriving lawn service business, and he found joy in the sights and sounds of the Cane River, where he loved to spend time on his porch.
Jimmy's skills extended beyond the workplace; he attended trade school, mastering electrical, automotive, and welding skills. A master of the grill, Jimmy's specialty was cooking and grilling ribs. His creativity shone through in his welding skills, creating unique items. John Deere green held a special place in his heart, reflecting his love for the brand. An avid outdoorsman, he found solace in nature through fishing and hunting. Known for his storytelling, Jimmy will be remembered for the laughter he brought to those around him.
He is preceded in death by his mother Earline McDaniel and brother Harry McDaniel, and survived by sister Linda McDaniel, brother Jerry McDaniel, and a host of nieces, nephews, his companion Tina Gallien and many friends. May his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration during this difficult time.
