Jessey J. Welch

Graveside service for Mr. Jessey J. Welch will be held at 1 pm on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Good Hope Baptist Cemetery near Anacoco, LA. Jessey, 80 years of age and a long time resident of Robeline, LA, passed away on September 21, 2022 in Natchitoches. He was born on May 26, 1942 to Jesse and Goldie Welch in Anacoco, LA. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Belva Jean Lauw Welch; his parents Jesse and Goldie Welch; sister, Avis Joyce Welch; brothers, Gilbert Linell Welch, William Johnny Welch, Alvin Rickey Welch and Raymond Allen Welch. He is survived by his brother, Ralph Welch and his wife Sally; sisters-in-law, Elaine Welch, June Welch, and Martha Bova; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as a large extended family. In his younger years he enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing with family and friends. He was talented with the guitar and enjoyed playing gospel music. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
