Jeffery Lynn Rachal, loving Husband, Father, Pawpaw, and Friend, gained his wings and went to be in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ with his family by his side on Monday February 6, 2023. Jeff was born on June 23, 1966, in Natchitoches, LA. He is preceded in death by his mother; Ruth Rachal, father; Alton Rachal, sister; Sherry Shegura, and aunt; Lillie Shoemaker. Jeff Rachal, known as Biggin and Jeffro to his hometown friends and family, was one of a kind. He was always a fun-loving person who enjoyed making others laugh. If he wasn’t in his favorite recliner watching football and eating ice cream, you would find him outside piddling around in his shed, working in the yard, and playing with his grandkids. Jeff was a hardworking and ambitious man who enjoyed a career as a Heavy equipment operator to provide for his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and loving papaw. He always provided love, guidance, and support to his children and grandchildren. He will forever be in our hearts and memories that make us smile and we know our guardian angel will always be watching over us until we meet again. Those left to cherish his memories are his Loving Wife, Dawn Rachal; Son, Wayne Rachal (Anna), Justin Mathews (Laikan), and Daughter Nikki Rachal (Codie); Grandchildren, Cheyenne Martin, Daniel Rachal, Charlotte Fleming, Benjamin Fleming, Abael Mathews, Luke Rachal, Logyne Mathews, Raelyn Mathews; Step-mom Linda Rachal; Brother, Tommy Rachal; Sister Jennifer Rachal(Edward); and niece and nephews, Michael Rachal, Alton Rachal, Cassie Davis, and Caden Davis. Aunts Mary Collins and Barbara Villar, and extended Family and Friends. Services to celebrate the life of Jeff Rachal will be held Sunday, February 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Hickory Grove Methodist Church located at 8673 LA-6, Robeline, LA 71469, officiated by Bro. Don Winn. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until service time at 2:00 PM, Interment will follow at Weaver Cemetery, Flora, LA Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Greg Anthony, Joey Allen, Dee Holman, Nickie Flores, Robert Davis, and Norman Mitchell.
