James Adam Basco

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. James Adam Basco will be held at 12 noon Monday, December 13, 2021 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Gorum, LA. Burial will follow at Gorum Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until 7 pm on Sunday, December 12th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. James, 58 years of age and a resident of Lena, passed away December 1, 2021. He was born on May 20, 1963 to Albert and Mable George Basco in Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Basco. He is survived by his mother, Mable Basco; sisters, Pat Cain and her husband Ronnie and Theresa Flores; nephews, Jesse Flores, Daniel Knight and Trey Cain; nieces, Jessica Knight, Rheanna Flores, and Mary Flores; as well as many great nieces, great nephews and extended family that dearly loved him. James was the definition of an outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing especially with family and friends. He was a loving son, brother and uncle who will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
