Iris Victoria Dixon

A Mass of Christian Burial for Iris Victoria Dixon will be held at 10 am Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Spanish Lake, LA. Burial will follow at St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 8 pm on Monday, October 25th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on the 25th at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Iris, 64 years of age and a resident of Ringgold, LA, passed away on October 20, 2021. She was born on April, 24, 1957 in Coushatta, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Dixon; and parents Patricia “Patsy” Solice Hilton and Charles Edward Hilton. She is survived by her children, William Dixon “Billbo”, Mikeal Woodard, Carl Dixon, and Katrina Woodard; grandchildren, Gavin, Narvie, Jabarie, Brianna, Braylin, Kaylee, Mathieu, Cheyenne, and Kyndal; a sister, Sabrina Hilton; and brothers, Johnny Hilton, Clay Pannell, and Huie “Boy” Pannell; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Iris was the most caring and loving mother anyone could have. She doted on her family and was constantly being a caregiver to anyone in need. She always saw the best in everyone and accepted them for who they were. Her happiest times were spent with her family. She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Mikeal Woodard, Narvie Pritchett, Jabarie Pritchett, Timmy Solice, Cade Solice and Greg Carrizal, Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Johnny Hilton.
