Hilda "Mickie" Orsborn

A home-going celebration for Mrs. Hilda ‘Mickie’ Orsborn will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Provencal United Pentecostal church with Bro. Paul Grace officiating. Burial will follow at the Provencal Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 8 pm on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Provencal United Pentecostal Church.

Mickie was born on November 18, 1932, in England to William and Ivy Brown. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 30, 2025, with her family by her side. She is preceded in death by her husband Ray Orsborn, son Michael Ray Orsborn, granddaughter Cindy Orsborn, and brother Wilf Watson.

She is survived by her children, Michele and Mark Long, Suzanne and Terry Pepper, Steven and Krys Orsborn, David and Tonya Orsborn, and Chelsea Marie Orsborn. She is also survived by her grandchildren Sarah Long, Rachel and Randall Bradley, Marcus and Hannah Long, Haley Pepper, Jake Pepper, Kim Orsborn, Chelsea Orsborn, Rebekah and Micah Breaux, Dale Orsborn, Lise and CJ Vanhook, Meghan and Britt Rosso, Angie and Keith Sarpy, Lucy and David Rhodes, Bo Orsborn, Christopher and Melody Orsborn; great-grandchildren Jax, Jade, Noah, Callie, Marc, Seth, Braydon, Addison, Hadleigh, Harlynn, Ryleigh, Sadie, Austyn, David Lane, Lexi, KJ, Abagail, Dustin, Kaylee, Jesse, Levi, Chase, Kyler, Kynlee, Kamilah, Peyton, Layken, Hallie; nieces Moneta Wolfshohl and Debbie McCollum; sister Mary Nielson and sister-in-law Cynthia Watson.

She was also a mother to more than 25 foster children throughout her lifetime. She loved her family deeply and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

The Pallbearers will be Steven Orsborn, David Orsborn, Marcus Long III, Randall Bradley, Jake Pepper, CJ Vanhook, Bo Orsborn, Christopher Orsborn, and Dale Orsborn.
