With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nichole Christophe, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Nichole left this world peacefully at home on August 2, 2026, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born on September 10, 1974, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Nichole spent her life bringing joy and love to all who knew her.

Nichole was the cherished daughter of James Cooper and the late Nona Cooper Christophe. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nona, and her brother, Daniel Cooper. Her memory lives on through her husband, Kenneth Christophe Jr., their children, Daniel Christophe and his wife Ragen, Kenslee O'Con and her husband Joshua, Cole Christophe, and Shaylen D. Christophe. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Tracy Wilson, Clayton Cooper, Kayleigh Cooper, and Krystal Cooper. Nichole was the proud grandmother of five beautiful grandchildren: Amelia and Hazelee Christophe, Colton O’Con, Lonnie Jr., and Kaylen. She was excited about her new grandson, Wyatt O'Con, who is due in December. Her father, James Cooper, and his wife Nancy, along with her best friend, Misty Broadway, also mourn her loss.

For over 30 years, Nichole dedicated herself to her work at the Fresenius Dialysis Center, where she touched countless lives with her compassion and dedication. Outside of her career, Nichole found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and grandchildren, and she had an undeniable love for shopping. Known for her warmth and kindness, Nichole was an amazing mother, a cherished Gigi, and a steadfast friend.

A visitation to celebrate Nichole's life will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Blanchard St. Denis in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor her remarkable life, sharing memories and stories that capture the essence of her generous spirit. As we remember Nichole, let us be comforted by the special message her family wishes to share: 

"Do not let your hearts be troubled... In my Father's house are many rooms... I go to prepare a place for you." John 14:1–3. Nichole's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
