Glenda Jackson

Christian graveside services for Glenda Ann Jackson will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches. Glenda, 65 years of age and a resident of Bossier City passed away on May 28, 2021 at the Carpenter House in Shreveport. She was born on September 13, 1955 to Audrey Ann Oden Gardner and “Don” Donald Overton Gardner in Shreveport, LA. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Ann Jackson, husband, Samuel “Sammy” Thomas Jackson, and father, Don Gardner. She is survived by her mother, Audrey Ann Gardner; daughter, Valerie Lake and husband Charles; a granddaughter, Alana Grace Lake. Glenda was a caring and selfless woman who always put the needs of others before hers. Glenda made a profession of faith in her love for Jesus Christ and was baptized by Bro. J. R. Hearron at Westside Baptist Church of Natchitoches. She will be dearly missed by everyone that knew and loved her. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at the Carpenter House in Shreveport for the compassionate care they provided Glenda and her family during such a difficult time.
