Evelyn Schafer Davis

Evelyn Davis 88, of Pineville, LA passed away on August 28,2020. Graveside services will be held at Belmont Cemetery in Belmont,LA on Saturday, September 5,2020 at 10:00 am with Bro. Dennis Bjornberg officiating. Evelyn was born in Des Moines, Iowa, March 16, 1932. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Carolyn Schafer, her husband Joe P. Davis, an infant son and granddaughter Gracie Barrett. Evelyn enjoyed traveling and planting a garden with her husband. Evelyn also served in the Air-force with her husband and would often talk of Germany. Evelyn is survived by two sons Matt and his wife Tyiese Davis of Deville, La, Marc and his wife Melody Davis of Natchitoches, LA, two daughters Anna Davis of Pine Prairie, LA, Janice Davis of Conover, NC; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice of Natchitoches for all the special care Evelyn received.
