Eunice Virginia Robinson

A service to honor the life of Mrs. Eunice Virginia Robinson will be held at 10 am Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Sister Frances Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Hagewood, LA. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 9 pm on Monday, June 22nd at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Virginia, 67 years of age, passed away June 21, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was a dedicated wife of 49 years, a loving mother and grandmother. She was a woman of faith and put her trust in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She attended Oasis of Love Fellowship and was a loyal member for 40+ years and enjoyed fellowship with her church family. In 2017 she retired from teaching at Oasis of Love Christian Academy after 24 years of service. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Jacky Robinson of Natchitoches; daughters, Darlene Weems (John) of Natchitoches, Melissa Durr (Clint) of Natchitoches, Jacquelin Alford (Kevin) of Many, and Renee Robinson of Natchitoches; a brother, Elby Thomas; brother-in-law, Ricky Robinson (Sandra); grandchildren, David Weems, Matthew Weems (Ashley), Rebekah Conlay (Aaron), Ashley Durr (James Hannah), Chris Durr (Cheyenne), Laura Strickland (Darren), Andrew Alford (Rachel), Makenzie Alford (Jackson Davis); great grandchildren, Thea Durr, Levi Conlay, Caleb Conlay, Charlotte Weems, Zeke Hannah, Ayden Hovermale, Mayzlie Hovermale, Memphis Rutherford, TymberLee Strickland, Kendall Alford and Braylan Alford. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elby “Buddy” and Inez Thomas, 3 great grandchildren, and her in-laws, Dempsey Robinson and Carmie Lee. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include David Weems, Matthew Weems, Chris Durr, James Hannah, Andrew Alford and Darren Strickland. Honorary pallbearer will be Aaron Conlay.
