Earl F. Bolton

A celebration of life for Earl Bolton will be held Monday, June 12, 2023 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. Burial to follow at Weaver Cemetery in Flora, LA.

Earl was born April 20, 1934 to Overt and Tessie Bolton of Mora, LA. He graduated from Kisatchie High School and later was drafted into the Army in 1956. After his discharge, he worked for Red Ball Motor Freight, and in his spare time he enjoyed hunting and cattle ranching.

Earl is proceeded in death by his parents, Overt and Tessie Bolton; brother, Keith Bolton; and a sister, Willie Vee Steele.

He is survived by one sister, Jenny Douzart; his three daughters, Brenda Garlington, Glenda LaCaze (Riley), and Karen McKinney (Lee); his six grandchildren Christi Sarpy, Jeremy Garlington, Lee McKinney Jr, Jason McKinney (Kaylyn), Cody LaCaze, and Kati Thrasher (Garrett); and his nine great-grandchildren, Chandler Sarpy, Triniti Sarpy, Jennifer McKinney, Cameron McKinney, Ryleigh LaCaze, Mason McKinney, Cashlyn LaCaze, Liam McKinney, Dani Thrasher.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Adam Sarpy, Jeremy Garlington, Lee McKinney Jr, Jason McKinney, Cody LaCaze and Chandler Sarpy.
