A Mass of Christian Burial for Earana Varra Metoyer will be held at 11 AM on Friday April 9, 2021 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Natchitoches, Louisiana with Rev. John O'Brien serving as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery, Melrose, Louisiana under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9AM until time for service at 11AM at St. Anthony of Padua on Friday, April 9th. Earana Metoyer 92 years of age, passed away on April 2, 2021. She was born on December 13, 1928 to Manuel Sr. and Rose Varra. She is preceded in death by her parents Manuel Sr. and Rose Varra, Husband Silton Sr., daughter Gearlyn Syrita, brothers, Daniel, Albert, Alfred, Manuel Jr., sister Thelma, sister-in-law Mary Lucille LaCour and grandson Randy. She is survived by her son Silton Jr. (Bridget), brother James (Gloria), sister Rose Ann (Phillip), sister-in-laws Betty Ann LaCour, Lillian D. Metoyer and Wilma Varra. Grandchildren Silton III and Zachary (Hayley), great-grandchildren Tristen, Rylee and Addy. A very special niece Sheri Varra-Burns and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
