Doris Marie Pleasant

Doris Marie Pleasant peacefully left her earthly home on September 9, 2020, to join Our Father in Heaven, our Daddy, and all her family and friends whom have gone before her. She was born in Crockett, Texas on April 19, 1934. Her parents were Mayfield Alford, Sr., and Tressie Phillips Alford of Spanish Lake, Louisiana. Family and friends may pay respects from 12:00-2:00 pm on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Blanchard Funeral Home in Natchitoches, La. A Private burial will be held. Our Mother was very loving, she was always there when we came home from school when we were kids. She always appeared when we needed her most. Some called her Mother, Mama, MawMaw, Maw, and Ms. Mama. She loved to be in her flower garden....fingers in the dirt. She liked to tell us all about her flowers, and the names of them. Now, she has a perfect garden to tend, and the sun always shines. She will always be our most precious flower.
