Dolores Williams

Dolores Lillian Williams, 82 years of age, passed away on October 26, 2022 in Natchitoches, LA. She was born on April 6, 1940 to Wesley Drake and Lillian Langhagen Drake in Jersey City, NJ. Dolores was known by many as “Dee". It would be fair to say that she marched to beat of her own drum. She dearly loved animals and worked as a dog groomer during her later years in life. In her younger days she toured with a band as lead vocalist, she possessed a beautiful voice. It is true to say that the love of her life was her husband Gene Williams and sadly he preceded her in death. She is survived by her close and dear friend, Joyce Perry and her church family at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Natchitoches. In following her wishes, her cremated remains will be spread with Gene and her “fur babies” near her home in Arkansas.
