Dennis "Beaux" Edward Gourdon, Jr.

A service to honor the life of Dennis Edward Gourdon, Jr. will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, July 24, 2022 in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Bro Rob Harrison officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Clearlake Cemetery near Goldonna, LA. The family will receive friends from 10 am until service time on the 24th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Known by many as Beaux, Dennis was born on May 24, 1970 to Dennis and Sharon Jackson Gourdon in Baton Rouge, LA. He passed away on July 16, 2022 at the age of 52. He honorably served as a Seabee in the United States Navy and was very proud of his patriotic duty. He was a heavy equipment operator but was better known as a jack of all trades, there wasn’t anything he couldn’t do. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his father, family and friends. He was “Coach Beaux” to many young men that he coached the game of football too. He will be dearly missed by so many that loved him. He is survived by his children, Lori Hunt and husband Martin, Sr. and Jarrett Gourdon; a grandson, Martin Hunt, Jr. (MJ); his parents, Dennis, Sr. and Sharon Gourdon; and his brothers, Jeremy Gourdon and Timothy Gourdon; as well as many friends. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Timothy Gourdon, Martin Hunt, Sr., Joey Gourdon, Tony Sullivan, Jamie Picou, Ronnie Romano, Scott Hendrickson, and Thomas Gourdon. Honorary pallbearers will be Heath Blount and Charles Van Osdel
