David Wayne Hicks

David Wayne Hicks, 61 years of age and a resident of Austin, Tx, was taken suddenly from this life on October 8, 2020. He was born in Norfolk, VA on March 27, 1959 to Wayne and Grace Hicks. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Angelo and Josephine Dado and Paternal grandparents Andrew and Estelle Hicks, and brother, Derrick Ray Amoriko. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Hicks And fiancé Nic Longden, grandchildren, Kylie and Bryce Longden, parents, Wayne and Grace Hicks, sister Gina Hartley and husband Bill. David also leaves behind his nieces, Rosalee Grace Amoriko, Robyn Coutee and Allison McKneely, and grand nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends throughout Louisiana, Texas, and Ohio. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A memorial Service to honor David's life will be held at 2pm on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Coldwater Baptist Church in the Hagewood community.
