David G. Bryant

A service to honor the life of Mr. David G. Bryant will be held at 11 am Tuesday, January 26, 2021, in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in the Oak Grove Community in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 10 am until service time on the 26th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. David, 81 years of age and a resident of Natchitoches, passed away on January 23, 2021, in Alexandria, LA. He was born on December 18, 1939 to Jesse Lee Bryant and Addie Lou Gotlin Bryant in Hargis, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, David Bryant; and his siblings, Bessie Young, Hershel Bryant and Dub Bryant. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who always put the needs of his family before his own. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Viola Laverne Bryant; sons, Daryl Bryant and wife Angel, Richard Bryant, and Dwight Bryant and wife Taylor; grandchildren, Tessa Smith, Tracy Corbit, David Bryant, Casey Bryant, Michael Bryant, Dwight Bryant, Bridgett Bryant, Brooklyn Bryant, Gracie Bryant, Raeleigh Bryant and Jesse Bryant; as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
