With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of David Keith Brian, who left us on June 19, 2026, at the age of 65. David was born on November 7, 1960 in Natchitoches, LA to Charles Edward Brian and Peggy June Bolton Brian.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years Roxanne Brian, and his children: Jennifer Armstrong, Charles Brian (Katelyn), Clifton Brian (Marlee), Emma Brian (Brandon), David Thurston (Kelley), and Michael Thurston (Michelle). He was blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy, as he always found the time to spoil them.David will also be lovingly remembered by his sister, Martha Flathers (Ricky), and his brothers, Bo Brian (Cathy) and Darrell Brian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edward Brian and Peggy June Bolton Brian Lindsey, his granddaughter Isabella Brian, and his beloved mother-in-law, Geraldine French.
A man of deep faith, David placed his unwavering trust in Jesus Christ, and it was truly his relationship with the Lord that shaped his character and life. Throughout his years, he embraced life with passion, enjoying the open road on his Harley Davidson and savoring every moment with his family. His generous spirit was evident in the way he doted on his wife Roxanne, never able to say "no," and in the boundless love he poured into his children and grandchildren. A truck driver by trade, he took great pride in being an owner/operator for many years.
A service to honor his life will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Provencal United Pentecostal Church, officiated by Pastor Paul Grace. Following the service, David will be laid to rest at Shady Grove Cemetery in Bellwood, LA. The family will welcome friends from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.
As we gather to celebrate the life of David Brian, we remember a man who embraced love, faith, and family wholeheartedly. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and devotion that will be cherished by all who knew him.
