Danny W. Warren, age 72, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026. He was born on July 13, 1953, and grew up in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
Danny was the beloved husband of Kathy Floyd Warren, with whom he shared 54 devoted years of marriage after they were united on June 4, 1972. Together they built a life rooted in love and family.
Danny proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1971 to 1975. His time in the Marines reflected his strength, honor, and commitment—qualities he carried with him throughout his life.
After completing his service in 1975, Danny made his home in the Harmony Road community near Provencal, Louisiana, where he remained a proud member of the region.
He went on to work as a dedicated UPS driver for over 30 years, where he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and friendly presence. Danny formed lasting friendships along his route and took pride in serving his community.
Outside of work, Danny found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who cherished the peace of nature and the time spent sharing those passions with family and friends. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend whose greatest happiness came from spending time with those he loved.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Warren; his father, Winfred Warren Sr.; his brother, Winfred Warren Jr., affectionately known as “Wimpy”; and his brother-in-law Clyde Thompson.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Warren; his three sons, Daniel Warren and his wife Brandi, Steven Warren, and Jason Warren; his eight cherished grandchildren, Brooke and her husband Jacob Campbell, Reece, Vivian, Alex, Lillian, Shannon, Grace, and Rayleigh; and his two beloved great-grandchildren, Elijah and Thea Campbell.
He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Johnny Warren and his wife Starlet, Ritchie Warren and his wife Carol, Linda Warren Johnson, Julia Warren Matthews, and Kathy Warren Thompson; as well as a host of loving nephews, nieces, extended family members, and dear friends.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral.
