A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Charlotte Ann (Davis) French will be held at 10 am Friday, December 11, 2020, at Blanchard- St. Denis with Tony Moran officiating. Burial will follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery in the Spanish Lake Community. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 9 pm on Thursday, December 10th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Nathan Jenkins, Ryan French, Rodney French, Johnny Severance, Vincent Flores, Ethan Dean, Leon Davis, Christopher Davis, Michael Davis, Tre French, and Raylan LaCaze. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Bass and Tim Severance. Charlotte, 71 years of age, passed away on December 7, 2020 in Shreveport, LA. She was born on August 28, 1949, to Johnnie Davis and Leola Morvan Davis in Powhatan, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles "Peanut" Glen French, Sr.; grandson, Cason Glen French and siblings, Julius Davis, Johnnie Lee Bass, Lucy Davis Flores, Leon Davis, Eloise Davis Wheeler and Pearl Etie. Charlotte was a kind and compassionate woman. She loved spending time with her family. She touched the lives of so many people, some even thought of her as their second mom. She never met a person who didn’t like her. To know her was to love her. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her children, Lisa LaCaze and husband Ricky, and Charles “Pete” Glen French, Jr. and wife Tracy; grandchildren, Heather French, Heaven French, Jayme French, Charles “Tre” Glen French, III, Lacy Brauer, Katie Bass, Rachel Bass, Hannah Possoit, and Raylan LaCaze; as well as great-grandchildren, Averi McKemy, Linley Rose, Benjamin Brauer, Colton Brevelle, and Karley Possoit; siblings, Nellie Davis, Andrew Davis, and Isadore Davis; and her beloved fur-baby, PeeWee; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
