Charles "Chuck" Severance, Jr.

Charles L. Severance, Jr., 62 of Ringgold, LA, passed away unexpectedly on November 3, 2022. He was born on November 29, 1959 to Nell Davis and Charles Severance, Sr. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corp., a member of the Adai Caddo Indian Nation, and was a carpenter by trade. He enjoyed listening to as well as being a connoisseur of rock music. Preceding him in death are his father, Charles Severance, Sr.; sister, Sonya Campbell; and brothers, James “Jamie” Severance, Sr. and David Barbo. He is survived by his mother, Nell Davis; wife, Cindy Severance; children, Charles Severance, III, Megan Severance and her fiancé Jonathan Johnson; grandchildren, Aaron Severance and Evelyn Johnson; sisters, Tina Kazen (Jim) and Jill Strickland and (David); brothers, Tim Severance, Ray Barbo (Myra), John Saxon-Barbo (Matthew); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in the Spanish Lake Community near Robeline, LA. Burial, with military honors, will follow at St. Anne’s Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 9 pm on Friday, December 9th at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with recitation of the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 pm. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Charles Severance III, Tim Severance, Ray Barbo, John Saxon-Barbo, Trace Culpepper, Ronnie Chaplin Jr., Jonathan Garcie, Roy Bass, and James Severance Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Isadore Davis, Andrew Davis, Ricky Lacaze and Johnathan Johnson.
