Charles W. Seaman

Charles W. Seaman, 73, of Natchitoches, LA, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.  He went peacefully, surrounded by family and friends. Charles was born on March 8, 1946, and was a life-long resident of Natchitoches.  He attended college at Northwestern State University and law school at the University of Mississippi.  He practiced law for over 45 years and was an Assistant District Attorney for the Natchitoches Parish District Attorney’s Office.  He was an avid competitive shooter, loved animals, and was a devoted father.  He was predeceased by his parents, George and Edna Seaman, and is survived by his children, Jim, Hailey, Erin, and Jana.  A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 11, 2019, at 10 a.m. at the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Natchitoches.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Cancer Research Institute.
