Charlene Denise Womack

Charlene Denise Womack, 48 of Provencal entered her heavenly home on Monday, November 6, 2023, in Shreveport, LA. Charlene was born on June 24, 1975, in Natchitoches, LA to her parents Charles Jones Sr. and Carolyn Broadway Jones.

She was the apple of her Daddy’s eye and her Mama’s best friend. She married Chris Womack and was blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Autumn Rain. She started praying for her miracle baby for 17 years. On August 30, 2012, she got her miracle. Audie Ann came into the world with fire just like her Mama. She was her Mama’s heart and Charlene never took it for granted that God had gave her a miracle. Charlene loved with every ounce of her being. She loved her Jesus more than anything. Charlene loved cooking and singing. She had a very contagious personality and loved being her brothers’ boss. Bubba was her princess and Dano was her baby. 

 She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Jones Sr.; maternal grandmother, Sudie Broadway; and paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Irene Jones.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband: Chris Womack of Provencal, La; daughters: Autumn Rain Womack, Audie Ann Womack, and Brittney Lemond all of Provencal, LA;mother: Carolyn Jones of Provencal, LA; brothers: Bubba Jones and wife Amanda of Many, LA, and Daniel Jones and wife Katie of Provencal, LA.; maternal grandfather: Bobby Broadway; very special aunt: Deb Broadway; uncles: Randy Broadway of Provencal, LA and Mike Broadway of Caney Lake, LA.; aunt, Ann Toms of Saline, LA; niece and nephews: Trey Jones and wife Mally, Noah Jones, Collin Jones, Mallory Jones, Cooper Jones, and Cohen Jones; great nephew: Kutter Jones; and a host of cousins and friends

Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Robeline on Thursday, November 9 ,2023, at 10:00 A.M. with Bro. Brian Ray, Bro. Paul Grace, and Bro. David Broadway Officiating. Burial will follow in Bellwood Cemetery in Provencal.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the church.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be: Corey Eddington, DJ Simmons, Ethen Jones, Waylon Rials, Michael Broadway, Shane O’Bannon, Scottie DuBois, and Tony Procell. Honorary Pallbearers are: Trey Jones, Noah Jones, Collin Jones, Cooper Jones, and Cohen Jones.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the CCU doctors and nurses at Willis Knighton North for the great care they gave Charlene her time there.
