Catherine Beatrice Antoon

Catherine Beatrice Antoon, age 80, of Natchitoches, LA, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 19th, at 2:00 p.m. at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. The family will accept visitors from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. A private graveside burial will immediately follow. 

Catherine was born in Natchitoches, LA, on March 22, 1945 to Maroun Antoon and Beatrice Derbonne Antoon.

Catherine spent her life bringing joy to those around her. Whether she knew you or you were a stranger, she always had a way of making you feel seen. With a simple ‘Hey,’ she’d acknowledge you, and if you were fortunate, she’d brighten your day by blowing you a kiss. Catherine made a mark on everyone who met her. 

She is preceded in death by her father, Maroun Antoon, her mother, Beatrice Derbonne Antoon, and brother, John Maroun Antoon. 

Catherine is survived by her sister-in-law Merle Antoon; her nephew, Michael Antoon, her niece, Danielle Antoon (Daniel), her great niece and great nephew, Emma Grace and John Bryan Cobb, and numerous cousins.

Pallbearers will be Michael Antoon, Dr. Andrew Wilkerson, Mike Brown, Bruce Primm, Harry Garsee, and Tommy Vercher.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Howard Neitte.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to NARC, 127 Airport Rd, Natchitoches, LA 71457. 

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the many dedicated healthcare providers, nurses, aides, and doctors who cared for Catherine with compassion and kindness throughout her life.
