She is preceded in death by her parents, W. F. “Foster” and Vera Jennings; and nephew Billy Jennings, of Loanoke, AR. Carita was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a long-time member of Rocky Mount Church in Robeline, LA where she played piano and taught Sunday school. She was a true prophet of God. She lived by Proverbs 31:26, "She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue". We are so grateful for the impact she made on many with her faith in The Lord. With that being said, Carita enjoyed God's creation by loving the outdoors, fishing, and traveling. Cooking was also one of her many passions. She was a firm believer in the interpretation of, "If you feed them, they will come". And that we did. Carita was selfless, and devoted most if not all of her time to help others. She truly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Luke 1:45 states, "Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!”. The Lord indeed fulfilled His righteous promises to her and we will rejoice evermore. The family would like to give a special thank you to Sue Sparish for her constant loving care of their mother. Thank you also goes out to Fresenius Dialysis Center, Lagniappe Home Health and Hospice of Natchitoches and Many.
