Buford Pinder, Sr.

A graveside service to honor the life of Mr. Buford Pinder, Sr. will be at 10 am Friday, January 22, 2021, at St. Maurice Cemetery in St. Maurice, LA. Buford, 97 years of age and a resident of St. Maurice, LA, passed away Thursday January 21st, with his family by his side. He was born on October 26, 1923 to Harvey Chapman Pinder and Anna Lee Garner Pinder in Winn Parish. He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Louise Pinder. Buford proudly served his country in World War II and was honorably discharged at the rank of Staff Sargent. He is survived by his daughter, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. His grandchildren are honored to serve as pallbearers.
