Brenda Clair Rodriguez

In loving memory of Brenda Clair Rodriguez, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who was born on August 3, 1949 to Vernice L. Graves and Fannie Mae Price Graves. She passed away on July 18, 2024 at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center at the age of 74.

Brenda's journey through life was characterized by dedication and commitment. She worked diligently for many years at Walmart, where she eventually attained the titles of District Invoice Clerk and District Trainer before her well-deserved retirement. Her professional endeavors were marked by a strong work ethic and a genuine for helping others succeed.

A service to honor Brenda's life will be held at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches at 2:00 pm on July 21, 2024 . The family will receive friends from 12 pm until service time on the 21st at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.  Brenda will be laid to rest at Old Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery in Marthaville, LA.

Brenda will forever be cherished by her surviving family and friends who meant the world to her. Samuel Rodriguez, her devoted husband of 57 years, stood by her side through thick and thin. Julena O'Con and Jason Rodriguez and his wife Misty, remained as testaments to the love she shared as a mother. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren Brooke Lewis and husband Devin, Jordan Rodriguez, Abbie Rodriguez; great-grandchildren Walker Lewis and Kyndal Lewis. Brenda is also survived by her dear sister Rose Leone; a special niece Phoebe Strahan and husband David; a special nephew John Michael Leone and wife Michelle; Olivia Berry and husband Josh, Anna Strahan and Amelia Strahan, Allie Leone and Aiden Leone - great nieces and nephews; Lilly Berry, Luke Berry, Liam Berry and Leah Berry - great-great nieces and nephews.

On Thursday, July 18th she was reunited in heaven with her daughter, Rhonda Maroney and other family members that preceded her in death.
