Brantley Ray Spivey

d. July 16, 2019

God had different plans for our little boy, Brantley Ray Spivey, on July 16, 2019, cradled in the arms of Jesus, he went home to be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert “Bobby” Ray Givens. He leaves behind, but one day will be reunited in heaven with his parents, Beau Spivey and Kayla Givens Spivey; paternal grandparents, Roy and Terri Spivey; maternal grandmother, Denice Givens; aunts, Amanda Moore, Jasmine Givens, Brandy Dresher, Sarah Andrews, Anna Spivey, and Hope Spivey; uncles, Matthew Givens, Cody Spivey, and Patrick Kircher; as well as numerous extended family and friends.   A service to celebrate Brantley’s life will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, July 21, 2019, at The United Pentecostal Church of Montgomery with Rev. Donald Givens officiating.  Burial will follow at Union Hill Cemetery near Montgomery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 21, 2019, from 11 am until service time at The United Pentecostal Church of Montgomery located at 2647 HWY 71, Montgomery, LA 71454. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Confederates Motorcycle Club.   These are my footprints, so perfect and so small. These tiny footprints, never touched the ground at all. Not one tiny footprint, for now, I have wings. These tiny footprints were meant for other things. You will hear my tiny footprints in the patter of the rain. Gentle drops like angel’s tears, of joy and not from pain. You will see my tiny footprints, in each butterflies’ lazy dance. I’ll let you know I’m with you, if you just give me the chance. You will see my tiny footprints in the rustle of the leaves. I will whisper names into the wind and call each one that grieves. Most of all, these tiny footprints are found on Mommy's heart. ‘Cause even though I’m gone now, We’ll never truly part.
