Bobby Fair

October 30, 1935 — January 7, 2022

Bobby Clenton Fair, loving father and Papaw, passed away January 7, 2022 with his family by his side. Bobby was born in Ashland, LA on October 30, 1935 to Orie Clenton and Hazel Pulling Fair. He was raised in Natchitoches and graduated from Natchitoches High School in 1955. After graduation, he served in the United States Army. Bobby was a man of many talents and worked in construction as an electrician, salesman at Goodyear Tires and owned a convenience store and used car lot. He had a life-long love of cattle and farming. Bobby never met a stranger and those who knew him have plenty of stories to share of his antics. He loved visiting others and sharing a cup of coffee. Bobby married Judy Diane Sepulvado on November 2, 1975 and spent 45 years raising their blended family of seven children. Together they enjoyed being Papaw and Nana to their six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Bobby loved sharing his love of hunting, fishing, gardening and horses with his children and grandchildren. He leaves them with wonderful memories of hunting and fishing trips and hours spent in the garden or exploring the outdoors. There is a lifetime of stories of the past, family history and traditions. Grandchildren always came home after an outing with Papaw covered in mud and some “treasure” found exploring. Bobby is preceded in death by his wife, Judy; parents, Orie and Hazel; brother, James Rex Fair; sister, Barbara Fair LaCaze; son, Tracy; daughter, Leah Harris and son-in-law Daniel C. Harris.
