A graveside service to celebrate the life of Bobbie Jean Honeycutt will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Bellwood Cemetery in Bellwood, LA. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Greg Honeycutt, Kevin Honeycutt, Jody Skinner, Hayden Harris, Steven Skinner, and Rayleigh Warren. Bobbie Honeycutt was born on April 16, 1935 in Lotus, LA to James Lee Booty and Lillie Inez Massey. She passed away in Natchitoches, LA on March 21, 2023. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Douglas Honeycutt; two sons, Gregory Honeycutt and Kevin Honeycutt and his wife, Tabatha; her daughter, Deborah Skinner; grandchildren, Lacey Sanders and her husband Michael, Steven Skinner and his wife Callie, and Abbie Gandy; great-grandchildren, Hayden Harris, Rayleigh Warren, and Brantley Skinner; and her two sisters, Dorothy Mae Wisterman and Dora Jane Sales. Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillie Booty; her brother, L. B. Booty; and sisters, Eula Belle Ward, Mella Mae “Mellie” Cook, Annie Belle Woodell, Ina Lee Trammel, Johnnie Elaine Bowie, Gloria Adon Murry, and Sherry Nell Bynog. Bobbie Jean loved all things flowers and birds. When she was able, she enjoyed tending to her garden, loved to sew, and cook for her family. She loved the Lord and missed going to church when she could. She will be miss by those who knew and loved her.
