She was affectionately known to her grandchildren and great grandchildren as “Bobba.” She was born on February 10, 1935, in Natchitoches, Louisiana, to Lenora Mae Thomason and Bennie Garcia.
Bobbie was a strong, loving, and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was rooted in faith and family. She spent many years teaching preschool and special needs children, sharing her knowledge, kindness, and caring spirit with countless young lives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lenora Mae Thomason and Bennie Garcia, and her sisters, Lenora Prothro and Bennie Mae Johnson.

Noel, Sr. (Daisy) of Natchitoches and Jason Noel (Kari) of Pineville; and her granddaughter, Stephanie Gray of Mississippi. She also leaves behind her beloved great-grandchildren: Jeffery E. Bobbie found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved shopping, working crossword puzzles, and playing bingo with her great-grandson Jeffery. She especially treasured time spent outdoors, including peaceful walks along the path by Chaplain’s Lake and cherished family gatherings at Millwood State Park in Arkansas. Above all, she cherished time with her family, who were the center of her world.
Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on in the laughter she shared, the lessons she taught, and the love she gave. Her strength will continue to live on through the generations she so deeply loved and impacted.
