Billy C. Clark, 83, of Provencal, LA, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025, at The Courtyard of Natchitoches. He was born on August 12, 1942 and was raised in Flora, LA by his grandparents Seab and Mattie Russell. Billy attended Flora High School and then had a 45-year career offshore as a crane operator for Noble Drilling. From 1966 through 1968, Billy proudly served in Germany for the United States Army, achieving the rank of SPC 4. In his free time, he could be found riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle or racing at local dirt tracks.

Billy is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Jean Clark. His family includes 2 brothers, Jerry Clark and wife Geraldine and Melvin Clark; 2 sisters, Paula Steranasky and husband Jack, and Vivian Wynn; his stepmother Dale Clark; brother-in-law, Kenneth Kay and wife Nina; sisters-in-law, Nell Miller and husband Bob, Mildred Wall, Mary Tucker, and Rhonda Rachal and husband Bob. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Billy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Seab and Mattie Russell; father, Ray Clark; mother, Mabel Grimsley; brother, Clyde Clark; parents in law, Bud and Hazel Kay; brothers-in-law, Billy Kay, Paul Kay, Harold Wall and Robert Tucker; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Kay Neitte and her husband Edward “Frog” Neitte.

In his retirement, Billy developed a deep love of woodworking. He opened his own business, Cypress Outdoor Furniture, selling outdoor furniture to customers all across the world. He took great pride in being meticulous craftsman, ensuring that each piece of furniture was not only functional but also a work of art. He also loved fishing and spending time outdoors.

A graveside service to honor his life will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Friendship Cemetery near Provencal, LA with Bob Miller officiating.
