A service to honor the life of Mr. Bill Prince will be held at 9:30 am Friday, January 15, 2021 at Freedom Life Church of Natchitoches with Pastor Stanley Clemmons officiating. The family will receive friends from 9 am until service time on Friday the 15th at Freedom Life located at 1530 Keyser Ave, Natchitoches, LA 71457. Interment will be held at a later date in Texas. Bill, 73 years of age and a resident of Natchitoches, passed away on January 13, 2021 in Natchitoches. He was born on June 24, 1947 to Cleveland Franklin Prince and Ruby Lea White Prince in Greenville, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Claudia Kensey. Bill retired from Lockheed Martin after 45 years and is a retired U.S. Army Infantry Private E2. Every Sunday morning he was up and ready to go to church. He loved God, and his family was his pride and joy. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He had a passion for horses. He trained and raced thoroughbred horses for several years while living in Texas. He also had a love for muscle cars, and had the 2nd fastest car in Arlington, Texas with his 1967 Pontiac GTO. He always enjoyed attending the Natchitoches Car Show. When Bill was not outside finding something to do, he was sitting in his recliner watching a John Wayne movie with his favorite lap dogs Boudreaux and Lilly. He is survived by his wife, Beverly DuBois Prince; daughters, Shelli Prince and Daviona Price; a son, Robert Prince; grandchildren, Ashlee McCoy, Eden Price, Whitney Shelby, Elise Laroux, Brooke Prince, Dylan Price, Maxx Prince, Reygan Prince, and Addison Price; great grandchildren, Braylin Prince and Kazdyn McCoy; siblings, Freida Gothard, Athel Ray Prince and Phyllis Stephens; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
