Beverly Thomasee Sparks

Beverly Thomasee Sparks, age 64, passed away peacefully at her home in Colfax, Louisiana, on Friday, October 3, 2025. She was born on October 6, 1961, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Hollie Sparks of Anna, Texas; her beloved grandson, London Sparks of Anna, Texas; and her two sisters, Donna Thomasee and Pamela Sarvela, both of Seattle, Washington. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joy and Lynwood Thomasee of Natchitoches, Louisiana, and her sister, Julie Kim Waters of McComb, Mississippi.

Beverly was a devoted mother, sister, and friend whose gentle spirit and kind heart left a lasting mark on everyone she met. Her greatest joy in life was the birth of her daughter, Hollie — a moment she always described as her proudest and most cherished blessing.

Beverly’s warmth, compassion, and quiet strength will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Beverly’s memory to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), an organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental health challenges.
