Betty Sue Barnhill Ford, a cherished Mother and Grandmother, went to her heavenly home peacefully and surrounded by her family June 19, 2026.

She taught those around her how to stay strong and how to love deeply. Her greatest joy was her family. She celebrated every milestone, birthday and life accomplishment and made sure the people she loved always felt supported. Her love was a constant source of comfort and strength, leading others by example in her unwavering love for our Lord and Savior.

She was known best for her ability to play the piano and sing. To say that she could tickle those ivory keys is an understatement. She felt that it was always an honor to share with others her talents that God so graciously blessed her with.

She leaves behind 2 children, 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren who will forever be shaped by her love and wisdom. Though she is no longer physically with us her love remains in every lesson she taught and, in every memory, we hold so tightly in our hearts.

A very special Thank you to Raven Williams and Jerritt Oxley for being the constant helping hands that Mom and I truly needed. Their level of care and compassion that they provided mom was above and beyond understanding. God never fails us and is always right on time, I can testify that this is true because God sent us two angels called Rae and Jerritt.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 1PM on Monday June 22 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Hudson Officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Cemetery in Robeline, LA. The family will receive friends from 11AM until service time at the funeral home on Monday the 22nd.
