Bernice Caldwell, known by many as Jean, was a compassionate, honest, and a loving person. She was mom and momma to her daughters, Maw-maw to her grandchildren, Pee-paw to her great grandchildren and Aunt Jean to everyone else. She was always there and willing to help. She loved “The Good Lord” and always prayed for everyone. She unconditionally loved her family and friends. She loved to listen to music, sit and visit with everyone, watch the birds she fed daily in her front yard, spend time with family and friends, and go to bingo. She was truly a blessing to everyone, she taught us how to be strong, to love, to forgive, and always try to see the good. She lived an unselfish life blessed beyond measure. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Natchitoches and to all the family and friends that visited and kept her in their prayers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Saturday, February 12, 2022 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Spanish Lake Community with Rev. Tommy Paul serving as celebrant.
