Barbara Ann Delphin Balthazar

A Mass of Christian burial for Mrs. Barbara Ann Delphin Balthazar will be held at St. Augustine Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 11 AM with a Holy Rosary at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum of St. Augustine Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 9 AM until time of Mass at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Barbara Ann Delphin Balthazar passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021 in Natchitoches, LA. She was born to William C. and Annie Wilson Delphin on January 21, 1927 in Alexandria, LA. The seventh of nine children, she graduated from St. James High School in Alexandria, LA. In 1944, she moved to Los Angeles, CA. On June 28, 1952, she married Felix Buford Balthazar in Los Angeles. She retired from Whittaker Aircraft Industry as a Payroll Manager. Buford and Barbara returned to the Cane River area on May 19, 1993. She loved her home on Cane River and enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Felix, Balthazar; her parents William and Annie Delphin; brothers, William, Jr. and Clifford; sisters, Dorothy, Robbie, Thelma, Theresa, Rosalie, and Alice. Barbara is survived by her many nieces and nephews and special friends, Thomas and Shirley Delphin. We would like to express our sincere, heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for all acts of kindness and sympathy extended to our family during this difficult time.
