Audrey Stoker

    Audrey Stoker, 80, of Robeline, was born on December 13, 1942, and entered the gates of Heaven with her family by her side on July 25, 2023.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Eardis and Glayds Freeman, her husband Bobby Stoker, one brother, Raymond Freeman and three sisters, Pearl Freeman, Betty Freeman Greer, and Teresa Freeman Nugent.

   Audrey was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a little firecracker of a lady but was full of love.  

   Audrey loved being in the garden especially after it was freshly plowed looking for artifacts and arrowheads. You would often catch her looking out of the kitchen window at her white roses and watching the hummingbirds. She loved her special companions, Sissy Kitty and Trouble. They kept her company and helped her to pass the time. One thing that she enjoyed most was having Sunday dinner with her family that she loved dearly. They were her pride and joy.

   Left behind to mourn her passing are her son, Gary and Amy Phelps and daughter Mitzi and Pat Roe and three stepchildren, Dale Stoker, Marla and Craig Rachal, and Max Stoker, also one sister, Lela Freeman and a brother, Louie and Janice Freeman, along with numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She will be greatly missed but remembered fondly by many!

A memorial service for Audrey will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 9:30 am at Central Baptist Church.
