Audrey Faye Goings

Funeral services for Audrey Faye Goings, 86, will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 1 pm at Crossroads Baptist Church in Marthaville, LA, with Bro. Dean Crittenden officiating. The family will receive friends for a visitation Tuesday morning at 10 am until service time. Burial will follow at Marthaville Cemetery in Marthaville, LA.

Audrey was born March 26, 1939 to Almon Lee and Janie Lee and passed October 17, 2025, in Natchitoches, LA.

Audrey worked as a waitress, seamstress, and meat market attendant throughout her life until retirement. Her favorite pastime was sitting in her rocker on the front porch and visiting with family, friends, and neighbors.

Audrey was preceded in death by her beloved partner of more than 20 years, Preston “Jr.” Hays; parents, Almon Lee and Janie Lee; brothers JM Lee, Buddy Lee, JC Lee, RV Lee; sister, Elaine Rambo; daughter, Becky Rawls; and son-in-law, Lynn Nichols.

Audrey is survived by her sister, Joy Miller; daughter, Lanell Nichols; son, Greg Goings; daughter-in-law, Lisa Goings; son-in-law, Johnny Rawls; grandsons, Kasey Nichols (Angie), John Rawls, Jr. (Ashley), Jarrod Rawls, Joshua Goings (Briannah); great-granddaughters, Chloe Nichols and Bella Rawls; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Audrey’s extended family, the Hays family, she cherished each of you as a son, daughter, grandchild, and great-grandchild. Thank you for accepting our mother into your family and making her feel loved.

Honoring Audrey as pallbearers will be Terry Lee, Mike Miller, Kasey Nichols, John Rawls, Jr., Joshua Goings, and Randy Hilliard. Honorary pallbearers are Kerry Rawls, Jarrod Rawls, Richie Bruce, Zach Bruce, and Jason Lee.
