Ann LaCaze, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, at the age of 94. She was born on April 2, 1931, in Flora, Louisiana, where her strong spirit, sharp wit, and warm heart first took root.
Ann shared 66 beautiful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Lawrence LaCaze, and together they built a life grounded in love with their children, Lawrence LaRue LaCaze and Rebecca Henry. Though Lawrence, Rebecca, and LaRue preceded her in death, Ann’s heart remained full with the precious memories they created together.
She is lovingly remembered by her granddaughter, Jennifer Henry, and her devoted son-in-law, Charlie Henry, who brought her much joy, laughter, and companionship throughout her later years.
Ann had an eye for beauty in all its forms, like taking pride in her lush gardens, the charm of a well-loved antique, or the warmth of family gathered around her table. Her passion for people and her natural grace shone through in everything she did. A top seller and award winner during her years with Avon, Ann’s work ethic and genuine kindness left lasting impressions on everyone she met. Later, she pursued her love of antiques, opening her own business and managing rental properties with the same dedication and care that defined her life.
Known for her gentle humor, generous spirit, and unwavering resilience, Ann lived each day with purpose and love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those blessed to have known her.
A celebration of Ann’s life will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA, where family and friends will gather beginning at 9:30 am to honor her memory and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. She will be laid to rest at Fern Park Cemetery in Natchitoches concluding the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Ann’s memory by planting something beautiful in your garden or taking a moment to cherish your own loved ones and the simple joys of life she so deeply appreciated.
