Alice Denise Outlaw

March 11, 1961 — September 29, 2023

A service to honor and celebrate the life of Mrs. Alice Denise Outlaw will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Bro. Ellis Hayden officiating.  Burial will follow at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA.  The family will receive friends for visitation from 12noon until the start of service on October 5, 2023 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.

Denise was born on March 11, 1961 in Jacksonville, FL to William Henry Beard and Alice Jane Manchaca Beard.  She gained her wings on September 29, 2023 in Shreveport, LA at the age of 62, after a long battle with heart disease.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son, Michael “Bubba” Shane McClenan, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, David Outlaw, Sr; Her daughter Erica Allen and partner David Shelton; stepchildren: David Outlaw, Jr., Dillon Outlaw, Ryder Martin Outlaw and Evey Marie Outlaw; Grandchildren: Courtney Harris & Fiance' Jacob Neal, Derrick Allen, and Cody Allen; One Great Grandson, Ryker Neal; daughter-in-law, Keri McClenan; and her beloved fur-babies, Sadie and Scooby.

Denise, better known as Dee-Dee, to her close friends and patients, loved and cherished their time with her. She never met a stranger and would give the shirt off her back to help anyone in need. She gave selflessly to all who came in contact with her, as she loved her job as a Medical Assistant. Her smile and energy would brighten any room. As much as she loved caring for others in their time of need, her favorite title she wore was that of being called "Mimi." She loved her husband, and loved her kids, but the grandbabies filled her heart with so much joy and love.

She will be missed terribly by those that she left behind. As hard as it is to let her go, her wings were ready, and she will no longer be in pain or suffering. She is reunited with her parents and her son, and her heart is finally healed. We will carry her love and memories in our hearts. Today we will not say "goodbye", but rather "See you later-Save me seat in heaven!"

Psalm 34:18  "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
John 16:22 "Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy."

Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Derrick Allen, Cody Allen, Jacob Neal, David Shelton, David Outlaw Jr., and Brett Myers.
