Alexander Ryan Nobles, Jr.

On October 31, 2022 another good man was called home. Alexander Ryan Nobles, Jr. born July 29, 1949, passed away in Tennessee with his brother Donnie Nobles standing by his side. Alex was a brilliant man with a big heart but it was that heart that failed him. Alex enjoyed a wealth of information that he was eager to share. His famous line, “don’t take my word for it, do your own homework! But if you argue with me; you’ll lose!” Alex was known as Bubba, Jr., son, brother, husband, father, stepfather, PaPa and friend. He was a dreamer, an intellect, an inventor, a talented singer/songwriter but most of all he was a giver of himself, his knowledge and his love. He was a graduate of Northwestern State University. He was of the Catholic faith and was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Preceding Alex in death was his parents: Alexander Ryan Nobles, Sr. and Lizzie May Lonadier Nobles. Those left to cherish his memory are his sister Lillian Wooley and her husband John; sister Elizabeth Miller; brother Donald Ray Nobles and his wife Brenda; brother Joseph Nobles and his wife Laura; sister Joy Nobles; son John Ryan and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 1 pm Wednesday November 30, 2022 at Blanchard St. Denis funeral home in Natchitoches. The family will receive friends for a visitation at 12:30 pm until service time in the chapel.
