Alan E. Raulins, born August 30, 1953, in Natchitoches, Louisiana. He passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at the age of 72. He was the son of the late Joseph Neal Raulins and Sybil Myrt Ballard Raulins.

Alan grew up in Natchitoches, Louisiana. He attended Natchitoches High School, followed by Natchitoches Trade School where he studied welding. He also served in the United States Navy.

Alan was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Raulins Rachal, of Provencal, Louisiana. He is survived by his sister, Anna Kay Raulins Shores and her husband, Ray, of Bentonia, Mississippi; a niece, Claire Shores of Flora, Mississippi; and a nephew, Stephen L. Rachal, Jr., his wife, Casey, and their sons, Hunter and Brayden, of Flora, Louisiana.

The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the staff of the Louisiana War Veterans Home for their many years of service to Alan. He loved the staff and considered the War Veterans Home as his home.

Burial will be at Central Robeline Cemetery, Robeline, Louisiana.
