Funeral service for Azimia Hernandez Roy will be held 2 PM Sunday, November 7, 2010 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery at Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Saturday, November 6, 2010 from 5 PM until 9 PM with a Rosary Service at 7 PM and visitation on Sunday, November 7, 2010 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home. Mrs. Roy, 95, of Natchitoches, La., died Friday, November 5, 2010, at Natchitoches Nursing and Rehabilitation in Natchitoches, La. She was a native of Cloutierville, La. She was a homemaker and attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Holy Cross Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Roy; parents, Edward Hernandez, Sr. and Euphemia Vercher Hernandez.; three sisters and four brothers. She is survived by one daughter, Pat Roy of Baton Rouge, La.; one son, Ronald Roy and wife Marsha of Natchitoches, La.; four grandchildren, Lisa Day and husband Nick, Tracy Marino, Mark Roy and wife Karen, and Julie Longlois and husband Stanley; seven great-grandchildren, Connor Day, Carter Day, Colt Day, Madeline Roy, Peyton Roy, Lily Roy, and Chloe Longlois; one brother, Edward Hernandez, Jr. of Natchitoches, La.
