Funeral service for Shirley Blackledge Campbell Howell will be held 3 PM Sunday, November 12, 2006 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. Roger Matkin officiating. Burial will be in Provencal Cemetery at Provencal La. Visitation will be Saturday, November 11, 2006 from 6 PM until 8 PM and on Sunday, November 12, 2006 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home.
Mrs. Howell, 67, of Natchez, La., died Friday, November 10, 2006, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, La.
She was a native of Provencal, La. and she was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Don Campbell; son Ronnie Campbell; brothers, Buddy Blackledge and Bilbo Blackledge; parents, Lyndon William Blackledge and Edna Gilcrease Blackledge.
She is survived by her husband Jimmy L. Howell, Sr. of Natchez, La.; one son, Donnie Campbell and wife Joan of Provencal, La.; grandchildren, Laurie Campbell, Cory Campbell, Lacie Campbell of Provencal, La, Ron Campbell of Natchez, La., Roman Campbell of Bossier City, La.; great-grandsons, Austen Campbell and Christian Campbell both of Bossier City, La.; numerous step-grandchildren and numerous step-great-grandchildren; step-son, Jimmy Howell, Jr. of Ocean Springs, Ms. and Jamey McDonald of Campti, La.; step-daughters, Tammy Walker of Clarence, La., Toni Lewis of Natchitoches, La., and Deana Youngblood of Provencal, La.; two sisters,
Billlie Jean McGuire of Snyder, Tx. and Mary Sparks Pherigo of Baytown, Tx.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Lynn Sparks, Steve Sparks, Jeff Sparks, Wayne Sparks, Henry Fontenot, Dody Campbell.
