Service for Dustin Cole Thompson will be held 11 AM Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2006 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. Harry Bamburg officiating. Burial will be in St. Maurice Cemetery at St. Maurice, La. Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006 from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2006 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home. Dustin, 23, of Natchitoches, La., died Saturday, September 16, 2006, at Winn Parish Medical Center in Winnfield, La. He was a native and lifelong resident of Natchitoches, La. He was a welder and a member of Goldonna Baptist Church. He is survived by one son, Payton Reide Williams of Winnfield, La. parents, Mike Thompson and Janet Clakley Thompson of Natchitoches, La.; two brothers, Michael Kayne Thompson of Coushatta, La. and Christopher Trey Thompson of Natchitoches, La.; maternal grandmother, Betty Clakley of Goldonna, La.; paternal grandmother, Betty Lou Thompson of Natchitoches, La.; paternal great-grandmother, Mollie Mae Brunnig of Natchitoches, La. Pallbearers will Mitchell Durbin, Blaine Eldreth, Dewade Killingsworth, John Leone, Matt Tebbits, and Steven Hines.
