Funeral service for Dell Cannon will be held 10 AM Wednesday, August 23, 2006 in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Cloutierville, La. with Rev. Harold Imasha officiating under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 22, 2006 from 5 PM until 9 PM with a rosary service at 7 PM and on Wednesday, August 23, 2006 from 8 AM until 9 AM in the funeral home. Miss Cannon, 96, of Cloutierville, La., died Saturday, August 19, 2006, at Lexington House in Alexandria, La. She was a native and lifelong resident of Cloutierville, La. She retired at Lavespere Store in Cloutierville, La. She was a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church. She is survived by two children she raised, Dorothy Ann Johnson of Joaquin, Tx. and Kenneth Lavespere of Baton Rouge, La. and many nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; great great nieces and great great nephews.
