Graveside service for Pearl Christine Williams Clay will be held 11 AM Monday, November 16, 2009 in Calvary Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Craig Beeman officiating. Visitation will be Monday, November 16, 2009 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Mrs. Clay, 85, of Waggaman, La. and formerly of Natchitoches, La., died Friday, November 13, 2009, at Cannon Hospice in Harrahan, La. She was a native of Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Curtis Clay; parents, Calvin Freddie Williams and Pearl Elizabeth Flynn Williams; six sisters and five brothers. She is survived by her one daughter, Betty Jean Garza and husband Hursel 'Butch' of Waggaman, La.; two grandchildren, Samuel M. Garza and fiance Rhonda Deemer of Westwego, La. and Trenton C. Graza and wife Hope of Terrytown, La.; great grandchildren, Devin Thibodeaux of Terrytown, La.
