Melvin Gene Lemmons, Sr.

A graveside service for Mr. Melvin Gene Lemmons, Sr., will be at 3 pm Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches. Services will be led by Pastor Dennis Bjornberg under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Melvin Lemmons, Sr., 76 years of age, passed away Tuesday, December 12th in Bossier, LA with his family by his side. He was re-united in Heaven with loved ones that have preceded him including his wife, Barbara; sisters, Thelma Johnston and Margie Miles; a brother, Goode Lemmons, Jr., parents, Goode Lemmons, Sr. and Bessie (Brown) Lemmons; as well as two infant twins, Lillian and Sophie Lemmons. He is survived by his son, Gene Lemmons, Jr. and wife Angela of Bosssier City; grandchildren, Stephen Lemmons and wife Karlie, Derek Lemmons, David Lemmons, Alexis Block and husband Nathan, and Bryan Lemmons; as well as two great grandchildren, Logan and Gracie Lemmons.
