Funeral service for Barbara Joyce Vercher will be 11 AM Friday, October 16, 2009, in St. John The Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. James Foster officiating. Burial will be in Cloutierville Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Thursday, October 15, 2009n from 5 PM until 9 PM with a Rosary at 7 PM in the funeral home. Mrs. Vercher 81, of Cloutierville, La., died Monday, October 12, 2009, at Louisiana Extended Health Care in Natchitoches, La. She was a native and lifelong resident of Cloutierville, La. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Mrs. Vercher was preceded in death by her husband Edward Allen Vercher; parents, Adrian Vercher and Thelma Rachal Vercher. She is survived by one son, John Allen Vercher of Natchitoches, La.three sisters, Toni Tate of Garvin, Mn. and formerly of Cloutierville, La., Billie Delrie of Cloutierville, La., and Gloria Stivey of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.
